John Weigand

John Weigand, C.P.M.

Brookridge computer is a home-based business founded by John Weigand in 2004. In 2003 he retired from IBM after 34 years of service with IBM's Global Services unit. John has been involved with PC's since the first IBM PC was introduced in 1981.  He founded and was president of the IBM Personal Computer Club in Greencastle, Indiana. John was also the manager of the IBM Personal Computer Repair Center in Greencastle, Indiana.  He has been developing and maintaining websites since 1996. John is also a Certified Purchasing Manager by the Institute of Supply Management.

When not working on computers, John can sometimes be found repairing homes of hurricane Katrina victims in Hattiesburg, Mississippi as part of his church mission work. To-date, John has spent more than 8 weeks working on Katrina Relief with St. James Presbyterian Church, Mechanicsburg.

John served in the U.S. Marine Corp as a Crew Chief with HMX-1's Executive Flight Detachment and is a supporter of our troops throughout the world. He resides in Hampden township, Cumberland county.
